Went for dinner with the family and right when we walked in was a warm feeling. Tasteful decor, our waiter Claudio was very helpful and professional, his recommendations were on point and was very friendly as well. The food speaks for itself fresh made pastas, sauce and pizza u name it it was all fresh and done to perfection. There signature dish Spezzatino D’Agnello was amazing u don’t need a knife to cut up this lamb. We will return! Our bill for 3 meals, 3 beers, 2 Entrees and a dessert it was only 180 (taxes included) very reasonable for not on the quality but also the portion size (if u finish ur stuffed)

I am an experienced diner that has become a very good cook and have worked the front of the house in numerous restaurants ranging from a casual pizzeria to fine dining in some of the top restaurants in southern Ontario. Had dinner here with my buddy who comes here weekly to meet his business partners. Wow! I am Korean that grew up in Woodbridge and love Italian food. I've dined at many over the years and make it pretty well myself. My Italian friends know nothing can beat nonnas Sunday dinner. This place comes the closest to some great homemade food full of love. Meatballs $10 for 3 good size. The way it is meant to be. 9/10 Osso bucco - nicely braised fall off the bone. Nice flavours rich and savoy. 8/10 Rib steak - this was outstanding! Best steak I've had this year and I've had at least 50. Half that I cooked with the best prime beef I could find. So tender with rich beef flavour and a wonderful hint of smoke from the grill. 10/10 My buddy also had the ceasar but didn't share this with me so I assume it was good. 3 glasses of wine total. Bill was $177! This in the city would easily be $300 these days. In the words of someone who I admire 'I shall return' It's worth the drive to Woodbridge.

Mastro Roberto never disappoints! I’ve been here many times, and every single visit has been fabulous. The food is absolutely delicious & fresh, flavourful, and authentically Italian. But what truly sets this place apart is the service — wow, wow, wow! Friendly, attentive, and always on point. Tonight, we celebrated my daughter’s graduation dinner, and everything was perfect. My guests were all so happy with their meals and the warm hospitality we received. Mastro Roberto continues to be one of my favourite spots, and I’ll definitely keep coming back. Grazie for another amazing experience! Thank you once again for making our night perfect.

Visited Mastro Roberto on our wedding anniversary, expecting authentic Italian cuisine. The place seemed legit and I would say dishes were 80-90% authentic( which is great). The servers were nice enough to provide recommendations and checked in regularly if we were doing ok with our food. Overall a great 4 star experience.

Authentic family run Italian restaurant with delicious food and great service. Must try the grilled calamari (made to perfection) and the saffron risotto. The seafood longing and risotto balls were both excellent too. Go There. Eat There. LOVE IT THERE!

This is the longest review I have made so far in Google review. But this restaurant truly deserves it. It is one of the best Italian restaurants that I have been dine in. Very authentic Italian style restaurant. The waiters are really kind and friendly. The Parmesan cheese they put on top of the minestrone soup were delightful. You could literally taste the freshness of all kinds of vegetables cut in it other than can soup you got from other dining places. There were little sea salt and crashed marinated basil leaves sprinkled on the second dish which is the cheese pieces. About the meatballs. It’s three giant meatballs with not just ordinary meats inside. I felt like they’ve put some prosciuttos inside to make it more savory. The Spezzatino d’agnello is truly amazing. I don’t usually eat carbs but I just won’t stop consuming it. The lamb is so tender and juicy. I can’t comment the pizza because I didn’t have a bite on it. But my son said it is better than the top pizza restaurant in San Francisco. So it must be really good. He even finish the chocolate ice cream for dessert. Overall, the atmosphere there is really nice and I’ll definitely come back again.
